Dialogue of Time and Fire

The roasting process, which begins after harvesting, is not just a production step for us; it's a creative phase where the coffee's character is reshaped and its identity is clarified. Each bean carries a unique history, having matured in different soils and climates. Roasting is the art of revealing this history; of bringing the bean's potential to its purest form through a delicate balance between the right temperature and rhythm.

In every roast, we seek an aromatic balance ranging from delicate floral tones to deep, velvety sweetness. This relies not only on technical knowledge but also on an intuitive understanding that knows how to listen to the time, the sound, and the scent. Remaining true to the spirit of the raw material, shaped by the producer's labor, is an unchanging principle of this process.

This meticulous approach makes the bounty of the soil, the traces of the climate, and the rhythm of the producer visible in every cup. The coffee that reaches you is not just a beverage; it is the freshest chapter in a story that stretches from harvest to roasting and then to the cup.

The Silent Hands

Melek Demirci for Récolte

On a hillside bathed in warm light, we are immersed in a silent ritual. Each figure, as if listening to the pulse of the earth, gathers coffee cherries, and time transforms into the rhythm of labor. These hands, hidden from view but carrying the entire scene with their presence, become the representatives of unseen labor.

It serves as a tribute to the women coffee producers of Latin America, particularly Colombia. The dance of colors and the fluidity of movement poetically reveal a human labor that exists outside of industrial production systems.

The Last Hour

As the last rays of sunlight envelop the harvest field in a golden blanket, the scene slowly follows a fading rhythm. Time stretches on in the light of sunset; the connection with nature emerges not merely as an act of production, but as a way of being.

Our Story

Some words don't just name a thing; they describe a way of thinking, an approach. Récolte is one of them. This word, which means "harvest" in French, represents not only the harvested product but also the labor matured in time, the rhythm of nature, and a respect for simplicity. Récolte builds a world shaped around this concept. Here, coffee is not just a beverage. Each cup is a carrier of a chosen moment. Each bean holds within it both the cycle of nature and human labor. The roasting process is a transformation; the presentation is a silent gesture.

Drawing its aesthetic sensibility from the restrained elegance of the French Riviera, Récolte establishes an unpretentious yet layered language. From typographic choices to packaging surfaces, from the color palette to the narrative structure, every detail bears the traces of conscious simplicity.

Récolte focuses on the meanings born from the combination of what the land offers and human labor. Each product exists not merely for consumption, but as a carrier of a narrative shaped by time and effort.

In its design language, it relies on balance rather than ostentation, on intuition rather than superficiality. The production and presentation processes, which function like rituals, are more than just an aesthetic concern; they are the silent expression of a meaningful stance. This stance is not merely a brand identity; it is a value system based on nature, labor, and selectivity.

Georges Seurat's figurative scenes, reflecting labor, patience, and the rhythm of production, silently accompanied the design process. His works, featuring figures working in fields, not only possessed aesthetic value but also carried a meaning rooted in the land and its production. This visual memory, synonymous with the concept of "harvest," offered a deeper look into the journey of coffee production, guiding the design language. Each brushstroke conveyed the trace of labor; each point, the depth of silence. This internal rhythm was transformed into the intuitive and assertive identity of the design.

The three main works, "The Silent Hands," "Colombian Woman," and "The Last Hour," focus on different scenes of coffee production, visualizing moments where labor meets aesthetics. The touch of light on the agricultural cycle, the elegant strength of the women workers, and the silence of collective production are reinterpreted as the three cornerstones of this narrative.
